Heneghan and Associates Vandalia High School Winner

Andrew Bell is presented with a college scholarship from Heneghan and Associates.

Andrew Bell, a graduating senior from Vandalia Community High School was presented with a college scholarship from Heneghan and Associates, a civil and structural engineering firm with offices located in Jerseyville, Centralia, Columbia, and Godfrey. Business development director for the engineering firm, Cheryl Moody, presented the award to Bell.

Bell was one of 55 applicants who applied to the tenth annual Heneghan and Associate’s scholarship program.  Bell plans to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he will pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.  In addition to maintaining excellent academic grades, Miller participated in a variety of extracurricular activities including sports and music.  He also donated his time and resources to several worthy civic organizations and causes.
