Heneghan Welcomes Emily Fortschneider

.On Tuesday, August 7th, Emily Fortschneider, from Brussels , Illinois became one of the newest members of the Heneghan and Associates, P.C. engineering team.  Fortschneider obtained a bachelor of science degree in biology and environmental science in May from Illinois College in Jacksonville .  Prior to graduating from Illinois College , Fortschneider received an associate of science degree from Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey , Illinois .

  Heneghan and Associates is an engineering firm initially established in Jerseyville in 1986 by Dean P. Heneghan.  The firm provides a broad range of engineering services for roadways and highways, storm sewer systems, detention basins, water/wastewater, and land planning.  Land surveying, permitting, dam inspections, and funding assistance are other services provided by Heneghan.  More than 16 municipalities, county agencies, water districts/companies, and the State of Illinois rely on Heneghan and Associates for quality services. 

  Fortschneider enhances services offered by Heneghan and Associates with her ability to evaluate the stability and diversification of ecosystems, and her knowledge about environmental requirements for construction in the private and public sector.  She is knowledgeable of the laws regulating the “building green” design concept.
