Dean P. Heneghan, President of Heneghan and Associates, P.C. in Jerseyville, Illinois, is pleased to announce the purchase of L.D. Benoy Professional Services of Columbia, Illinois, a civil engineering and land-surveying firm.

Previous owner, Les Benoy, a civil engineer and licensed land surveyor, has accepted the offer of employment as Division Manager with Heneghan and Associates.

"The acquirement of Les' 28 plus years of engineering and surveying experience in the Metro East area adds tremendous depth to our company's professional staff," said Heneghan.

"I am looking forward to working with Heneghan and Associates and our continued working relationship with our numerous clients in the area," stated Les Benoy.

With the Columbia purchase, Heneghan and Associates has also acquired an office in St. Louis, Missouri. Heneghan and Associates has six licensed land surveyors and 18 engineers on its staff of 50 employees. Offices are also located in Effingham, Centralia, Godfrey, and Jerseyville, Illinois.
